FIRST LADY’S BODY FLIES IN TODAY
PETRAJAYA - A profound silence hung over Malaysia as the body of the Prime Minister’s wife flies in to Kuching today for burial.
A national monument erected overnight in the memory of the late first lady Datin Seri Un Un Ugdada .
The first lady, Datin Seri Un Un Ugdada died yesterday afternoon at 11.01pm local time when she was attacked by two Great White sharks off the shores of Maui, Hawaii, USA.
It was a holiday turned nightmare for the Prime Minister, Prof. Datuk Seri Haji Syed Amierul Wan Burns as his late wife died on the way to Maui Oo La La Hospital due to severe injuries on her head and loss of blood.
A grim-looking Syed Amierul turned up at Petrajaya for press conference at 9.15am today before breaking down in front of the crowd.
The couple were celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary in Hawaii for three days before disaster struck. - xDA.BERNAMA
